I speak this prayer to Dionysus:

Evohe!
Bromios! Bull-Thunderer!
You've shown me the gate to the labyrinth
You've poured sweet wine down my throat
You drive me mad in the wilderness
You enter me when I think I cannot hold you
You tear me apart like a sacrifice
I have gone to the dark with you
I will go to the dark with you
I will chase you down the labyrinth's corridors
I will dance in the fire with snakes for hair
I will call your name, Persephone's child,
Dionysus!
Zagreus!
Eubouleus!
Iakkhos!
Evohe! Evohe! Evohe!

Oh Dioynsus, Please Accept This Offering:

i make this offering in the name of dioynsus and my beautiful goddess, the living energy that keeps my soul alive, for i drink only the wine that falls from her heart like a waterfall, bliss oozes from her blue-ocean eyes and arranges crimson flowers on the shores of my heart for me forever to nourish. oh, dioynsus, come to me and take me to your quarters where every atom of mine awaits to be pregnant by your mystery, come and show us how to seize whatever we desire of each other and this earth, my dioynsus, this great force on earth which awaits to be released, the mysterious and revolutionary energy which all humans possess, the life force in all of us which must come forward now. oh, dioynsus, i offer you the memories of all those magical moments which i shared with my goddess near your beautiful presence.

I Pour this Libation to Dionysus:

Nobody's achin' but
You got me freakin'
Like that time somebody slipped me somethin' trippy
Down in Delphi's sacred earthen womb.

My mind was spinnin' that day
My face was grinnin' baby!
My body spazin' from that chalice we were passin'!

Wine...gets you drunk every time
Helps you go with the flow........

You don't know why,
but you got to have more of that

Wine...spilt to Evius, divine
dyes the sun whitend stones....

You don't know why,
but you got to have more of that

Wine...
I ain't been here before, but now ecstatic feelin's got me rockin'

I Speak This Prayer to Dionysus:

Tell us, oh Muse, of one who stands behind me now,
A weaving, stately image there, reflected in
The wine. For "thunderstruck", the poet says, is how
The dithyramb is danced, is how we honor Him.

O Dionysos, peel away my outer layers
Of rationality, of intellect that shuts
The inner wisdom off. I raise my cup to You,
And try some steps, and try some words, then dip once more.
I'm singing neither cleverly nor clearly, Lord,
But that's your gift; the wisdom of the song and of
The stage is never found upon the printed page.
The mixing-bowl, still nearly full, already shows
Reflected bearded arch-browed inner consciousness.

Say that three times quickly! No two celebrants
Will hear your words the same, but nonetheless you speak,
And we will hear, and know your gifts, and sacrifice
A splash of wine, some honey-bread, an hour or three.
With you we live outside our minds, outside of time,
And though your gifts will fade in memory before
Our sacrifice is done, still we return, we dance
The timeless cadences of beasts beside your spring.

I Speak This Prayer to Dionysus:

First part, from the "Song of the Phalophoroi"
Translation: "For you Bacche, with the Muse's (help), we praise you singing with this simple rythm to the wind. Nobody of those singing in front (of you) is new or virgin, but we keep this hymn pure (intact)."

Second prayer is mine:
Translation: "O Bacche, god of wine and merriment, bless the Greeks and all your folks."

I Pour this Libation to Dionysus:

Translation: "I, Alexander, son of Georgius (George), from Chios, offer holy libation of sweet Ariousian wine from Chios (from Ariousai, Chios) to you Dionysus."

I Speak this Prayer to Dionysus:

I speak to You my God of my regret that I have not the proper words with which to speak. I wandered Your holy mountin yet I allowed my way to the sacred spring to be barred, I tunred aside. I did not yet knowYou fully, did not yet understand that I belonged to You, that what was sacred to You outweighted all else in the world. I was prudent, cautiouse and would not be wild on the mountin to go running over the slopes to find the spring of the muses blessed by You and Your brother. It may be many a long year before my foot again touches Your holy place. I besechee you to give me the words with which I may poour out my love for You before then. I must speak my love of You and I must speak it to You for when I feel You grow distant I am disconloulate I crave Your touch on my soul above all things. I Love You above all things I sing to You above all things

I Make this Sacrifice to Dionysus:

Lord Dionysus

I sacrifice all the doubt about my devotion to You, that for so many years I denied. You are the impetus behind all the arts and activities that I have given my life to. You represent the spiritual transformation that I have been striving for, You inspired the theatrical art that gives me a reason to live, and You bring the ecstacy that all seek - whether thay are aware of it, or no.

I am Yours, Dionysus, to do with as you see fit.
This is my sacrifice.

I Speak this Prayer to Bacchus:

As a Roman Pagan, I speak my prayer to the Roman God, depicted as a young man, Bacchus. Bacchus, I call upon thee, that thy mayest be propitious to me, my family, and to all of the Italian ethnicity, to whome you indiginously belong. Please grant your blessings of happiness, and revelry upon me, and help me to enjoy life to the fullest, and help me in conquering my OCD, as Rome conquered the world with its civilizing "Romanitas."

I Leave this Offering to Dionysos:

The streaming forest swirls with the wind,
behind the cave, across the river,
I find You there...o Lusios!

The centaurs circle around...and the satyrs do so as well,
The Bacchanals moan and sway..they feel you, and see you o Lusios!
The orgy has begun!

The drums beat out the tone,
As the kitharis; pluck cymbals clang,
and the Maenads shriek their cry to you- Io Euoi!
O how the auloi sing their song...Lusios it is to you!

The Earth shakes...
The sky quakes...
O Lusios! Lord!

The orgy has begun!

I Leave this Offering to Dionysos:

Hear, O Dionysos!
God of the vine!
Wild One!
Bacchic Lord!
Wreathed in ivy!
You who are attended by nymphs, maenads and satyrs in merry madness!

Exuberant Euios!
Lyaios!
Polygethes!
Ekstatophoros!
Botryophoros!
Dance the dance of life, death and life again!

Bull-faced wielder of the Thyrsos!
Roaring, raving Gigantophonos!
Shining Thrice-born of Nysa!
Blessed Meilichios!
Liberating Bringer of Freedom!
In Your many names do I honour Thee, O Dionysos!

Evohe!

I Leave this Offering to Dionysos:

Like the fires that dance upon the earth,
Thunder strikes its drum in the mountains.
Swinging and swaying the dancers beat out the eternal dance.

Liquid that burns like the fire,
Rushes through thy veins.
Ecstasy is met with pure passion-
For a moment the world turns red.

Before a trembling earth and shaking sky,
The fire is poured into each of the dancers bodies.

Upon this ground the spirits sing!
Upon this ground the torches blaze!

Elicited screaming, the music erupts, the lightning strikes.
The ground is saturated with blood and wine.
The mad god laughs as insanity entwines.

O Bakchos! Iw Euoi ! Let thy burning ground be of my heart!

A Poem from a Devotee:

Kissos as the ivy twines,
Bacchus in the living vines,
Dendrite god within the tree,
Pelagius from the sea.
Sabazios as the serpent red,
Bromios with the horned head,
Anthios in the blossoming flower,
Nokternios the night time power.
Phytalimos in growing things,
Sykites the fig he brings,
In the basket Liknites sleeps,
Iacchos from the breast he peeps.

I Speak this Prayer to Dionysus:

I offer this prayer to him. They that know the god shall recognize it, for it is an ancient paeon, given new form by my humble hands.

Invocation of Passion
Come, my bull-footed god, come raving out of the woods, maddened, furious, ecstatic, orgasmic. Take me. Fill me. Possess me, god. Make me drunk, Lord. Drive away all these hateful thoughts, trample my fears, squash my worries, destroy all limitations! Make me fall in love with the world. Make me forget the hateful, boring grey world that men live in. I want colors. I want explosions. I want a depth of feeling that I have never even imagined before. I want it all, all at once. With your flaming brand, drive me on! Rip the clothes from my body. Make my flesh hot, my dick hard. Take me, take me. Fuck me hard. Make me throw my head back, make me scream out in ecstasy. Don't stop, not ever! Fill me with pleasure, wave after wave of pleasure, so much pleasure that it melts my head, sets my feet on fire, pleasure like no one else has ever felt. I want to burn with pleasure. I want to dissolve in the ocean of milk. I want to be spread out across the face of the earth, a wave of pleasure washing across the earth, making people laugh, making them horny, making them dance in your honor, god. Io Dionysus! Io Evohe!

I Speak this Prayer to Dionysus:

My body, ecstasy

I, Mica, who knows the fury of the dance and feels the soul of the God in my limbs, will release fire from my flesh on this night of January 27. I will dance tonight in honor of my God, my saviour, Dionysus. I hereby make the offering of my body for him to take. My blood is made of his madness, my hair his rage, my flesh is born of his soft and supple sex. These I possess, these I give.

I Speak This Prayer to Dionysus:

I call to you my Lord,
I know you hear my words and understand their meanings. I feel your embrace everyday, I sense your presence beside me wherever I go. I thank you my lord and ask that you guide me and protect over me. I ask that you share your wisdom and power with I the one who was chosen so long ago. Let this destiny be fulfilled...

I am Immortal,
One of the divine.
There is no power,
Greater than mine.
I am the lord Dionysus,
God of the vine.

I offer these poems to my lord Dionysus:

Hallucination is masturbation,
give or take a trip.
Now drink of this holy water,
a sacred poison I gave to your daughter.
Once so innocent once so pure,
I pulled her aside and revealed the cure.
Selfish king of the house hold hour,
did you think you could wilt this flower?
Keeping it hid from the sun locked in a tower.
In this destiny long since written,
I visualize my goal and accept my mission.

Resurrected in this my rebirth,
sent here to free this earth.
Opening minds and unlocking doors,
bringing relief to emotional sores.
With these words I hope to render,
a new day and dawn to those brittle those tender.

Clouded Perception of our growing youth.
Lied to, misguided, and never told the truth.
Come along with me, I know the way....I will be your wagon master.

(Season Of Rebirth)

The season is upon us once more,
It is time again for the wanderings to begin.
Vines now budding back to life,
allow the lords wine to flow.
The beasts and I have grown restless,
but now with the sun opening it's eyes,
We feel free to gather.
With our circle newly formed,
can you feel it in your veins?
The blood of Dionysus.
Do you here the spring wind's message?
A sexual sonnet of animal wisdom.
Mother earth in her new found virginity,
grants us passage into the New Garden.
Each and every year brings life and death,
we now fall into the days of rebirth.
A wild time for those with free minds,
rallied together for the journey to the other side.
Raise a toast to the bearded youth.

I Leave this Offering to Dionysus:

Dionysus, Bull horned God,
You who were infused with celestial energy twice,
Let your love wind its way through my life,
Just as the vine winds its way through the Vineyard of the Earth.

Let the blood of life,
Flow through my veins,
Let it intoxicate my life with the madness that we all need.

Let it give me spirit to dance, the dance of life.
Let me feel free,
Let me feel wild,
Let me dance to the beat of the Earth.

Let me find the balance of my wild side and my tame side.
Let me be grounded onto the Earth,
but fly into the other realms.

I Speak this Prayer to Dionysus:

The Feast of Sts. John

"On the darkest night of the year
Of riddled smog dreary embers
We reached a point where the light arose
And shone, sung brighter than the dark unfolds
It was there that we could finally see
The veils that shielded our weathered leaves
Which was ignorance and pride of fear
That we imprisoned in us with lies and tears
A cry a dew that crystallized
And rolled down each cheek like eagles fly
-One for that which suffers dear
-The other joy, for loss of fear
And with this sudden transform came
A new life not for self remained
But one that is and is not there
The deepest heart, a love that cares
For Greater Self and Serves that One
Who Master of the World
Serves None"

Prayer:

I call to Dionysos,
I feel you in every breath of sweet air, taste you in every sweet drop of wine, and hear you in every sweet call of freedom you make.
As each day passes I begin to understand more and more your purpose for me. I know the time is near my lord and I cry out to you let the rebirth begin for I am ready father. The days once spoke of are here our time of preparation is all most over. It is time for us to rise and return to full glory and grace, it is not to late to save this world and its people. I call to thee, I invoke thee, I cast away all physical boundaries!

I am immortal, One of the divine.
There is no power greater than mine.
I am the Lord Dionysos,
God of the vine.
Who will follow me into the new garden?

I Leave this Offering to Dionysos:

Birth of Dionysos

Sometimes a god
flutters down
to be reborn
on fertile ground.

Sometimes that the soil is so succulent
augments his growth, nurturing his fire
which spreads wildly, carelessly amongst
the poor and
downtrodden.

They burn for rebirth.

Sometimes
his hot flowers will sacrifice all; will
readily suffer a snapping of necks

lopped off
for holy insolence (though already dead, this
by strange logic).

His terrible message is that
staunched, cauterized, these
are but holding actions; the
blood does not stop

cut us and and the ichor in our veins will bleed.

What god is so powerful as to summon and
to share
each death ecstasy?

Whose very existence proclaims
that which is uncontainable. And all the
trees, bees, flowers, beasts, birds
blaze that much fiercer for it
Sometimes our shared death-ecstasy
cannot be contained
and the trees and flowers, beasts and birds,
blaze that much the fiercer for it

shot through with
vivid illusions of pain that is truth
is unmitigated pain stroke joy of rebirth slash resurrection.
