Who Is Sannion

I was born on October 17th, 1977 in Pueblo, Colorado. After that, I lived in Wyoming, Montana, Alaska, Washington State, Las Vegas, Nevada and Bronx, New York. I currently reside in Eugene, Oregon.

I'm Blackfoot Indian, Sicilian, Polish and Welsh by extraction. I'm about six feet tall, and weigh around *mumble mumble* pounds.

I was on high honors all through high school, active in the student government, founded and edited our school paper, started a number of extra-curricular clubs including a philosophy and debate society - but never graduated. I took three years of college, mostly studying writing and philosophy and whatever else peaked my interest, but didn't care enough to finish that either.

I was the assistant manager at a used book store for almost ten years. I've worked at a movie theater, a 7-Eleven, and a Barnes and Noble. I'm a published author, with a growing bibliography.

A few maxims which sum up my philosophy-of-life:

Above all, seek love, beauty, wisdom, and mystery. The most important thing you can do is to be yourself. Fight tooth and nail whatever would dim your soul. One cannot be whole and safe; to be alive is to be on fire. Fail as many times as it takes, but never stop trying. Whether it's sweet or bitter, take big drinks from life's cup. Never miss the opportunity to dance, sing, or be silly.

My favorite musicians are the Doors, Peter Gabriel, Ben Folds, and Dead Can Dance. My favorite authors are Karl Edward Wagner, Walter Otto, Tanya Huff, Neil Gaiman, Plutarch, Seneca, and Archilocus. I love watching movies, and will discuss them at the drop of a hat. I don't drive. I'm learning to cook. One day I think I'm just going to walk into the desert and become a holy man - or a murderer. I haven't decided which.
