Sing, o Goddess Muses, of the fabled heroes of old,
who
In walking the path of valor found undying fame,
Challenges beyond counting to purify them of mortal
dross
So that their divine nature could come to the fore.
Excellence is what we need these days,
Men of strength and cunning to tread the heroic
Path which leads to Olympos and the shining
Environs of the Blessed Immortals
Renewing defiance to unjust deeds and words.
Together we all can do it,
You and me both, becoming heroes
Rivaling the greats such as Herakles and Theseus.
As they slew beasts and disposed unlawful kings,
Now is the time for us to find our calling;
Now is the time for us to tackle the injustices of our
world!
Ignorance, poverty, hatred, greed, and unfair laws
Slaying these dragons and making life better for all we
meet.
